Housing Support

If you're facing housing instability or homelessness, our team can work with you one-on-one to find a path forward. Support includes help navigating your housing options, connecting you with programs that can move quickly to get you housed, and ongoing case management so you're not figuring it out alone. Victor Valley College doesn't have on-campus emergency housing, but our team can help you find and access the resources that do exist.

Student Expectations

To support long-term housing stability, academic success, and career development, Housing Program participants are expected to maintain regular communication with their assigned case manager and actively participate in program services. Students should attend scheduled meetings, respond to outreach from program staff, and work collaboratively with their case manager to complete goals and action steps outlined in their support plan.

Participants are required to attend at least four Student Success and Career Development Workshops each academic year (a minimum of two workshops per semester). Workshops are designed to build skills that support educational attainment, employment, and self-sufficiency. Workshop topics may include:

  • Resume development and review
  • Cover letter writing
  • Interview preparation and mock interviews
  • Job search strategies and employment resources
  • Workplace communication and professionalism
  • Career exploration and goal setting
  • Time management and organization
  • Financial literacy and budgeting
  • Tenant rights and responsibilities
  • Wellness and stress management

Workshop dates and times will be announced throughout the academic year.

Student Feedback & Resolution Form

Student Resolution Forms are reviewed within 72 hours of submission. Students will be contacted within 7–10 business days to schedule a meeting with the Wellness Services Manager.
