Rena has multifaceted experience in volleyball. Her experience and education is in park and recreation and early childhood education. Her playing experience was high school and college in the South Bay area. Just recently, Rena went back to college and played her final year of eligibility here at Victor Valley College. She received her AA in Liberal Studies at VVC and is now working on her Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and Psychology through Park University. Her coaching experience has covered all age groups over the last 22 years ranging from athletes of 8 year olds to 18 year olds. She is the Owner/Director/Coach of Desert Rogue Athletics Volleyball Club and volunteer coaches the volleyball program for Mojave Valley Special Olympics. She also covers the point of view from the officiating world still officiating club and collegiate and high performance beach, and indoor juniors club and collegiate levels. Her experience is also extended to having raised three volleyball children. All three children played at club, high school and collegiate levels and are associated with junior club and high school coaching and collegiate officiating in Southern California.
