Requirements to Enroll

 

Work Experience Education is a program designed to connect what the student is learning in the classroom to on-the-job training and experience. Students are required to meet the  following criteria:

 

  • Student must have a paid or volunteer job or internship.

  • Student must work the minimum required hours per unit of Cooperative Education which is 75 hours per unit for paid position and 60 hours per unit for volunteer position.

  • Student must have new skills to learn at their job during the term.

  • Student must have a supervisor willing to assist, mentor, and monitor his/her progress throughout the term.
