The College Council is the main participatory governance body at Victor Valley College, advising the Superintendent/President. It is co-chaired by the Superintendent/President (or designee) and the Academic Senate President (or designee) and includes representatives from all constituency groups, including faculty, students, classified staff, administrators, and senior staff.
The Council reviews recommendations from committees, monitors committee membership and charges, ensures clear communication between committees and the Superintendent/President, and evaluates governance processes each year to maintain transparency and integrity in decision-making.
Meetings occur on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every Month during the Spring and Fall semester from 2:00pm – 4:00pm in Bldg. 55 Conference Room.
