Vision

Victor Valley College's vision is to inspire, motivate, and develop tomorrow's entrepreneurs and business leaders. We expose our students, including underserved individuals and underrepresented populations to new ideas, access, mentorship, and methods. We teach students to recognize opportunities, solve complex problems, and scale solutions necessary to enrich social and economic growth within the community. We help lifelong learners identify new opportunities to create an innovative, positive impact on society locally and globally.

Mission

Victor Valley College's faculty and staff will utilize the Entrepreneurial Center to develop students' entrepreneurial growth mindsets under effectual reasoning and experiential learning. Faculty and staff will promote entrepreneurial and innovation knowledge development, providing students and community learners with entrepreneurial ecosystem connections, which include:

Knowledge: VVC faculty will "home grow" individuals with entrepreneurial mindsets who are empowered and have access to innovate and bring about change in our community. VVC will work with NACCE to increase students' awareness and understanding of entrepreneurship mitigating racial disparities and inequalities in small business ownership.

Services: providing training, education, and mentorship to students to help solve problems, create products and services, and share solutions uplifting people of color, immigrants, women, and others without access to advance socioeconomically through entrepreneurship and innovation ideas.

Facility: VVC's Entrepreneurship, Incubator, Co-working Center will focus on developing students and lifelong-learner's entrepreneurial learning through project-based learning, design thinking, fostering a culture that encourages students to explore their curiosity through creation. Students and entrepreneur leaders will learn how to learn new skills, refine their design thinking interest, all while developing entrepreneurial mindset thinking to broaden and enhance their career and job level skills and abilities.
