What is MESA?
The MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) program is designed to support community college students pursuing degrees and careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields. It offers academic support, mentorship, and resources to help students succeed in their coursework and transfer to a four-year university. MESA provides tutoring, workshops, and networking opportunities to build skills, confidence, and connections within the STEM community. The program aims to increase diversity and representation in STEM fields by supporting underrepresented minority, low-income, and first-generation college students.
