Biography
I've been working in automotive field for over 35 years. I started as a fleet mechanic for a construction company. I got my smog inspection and repair license as well as ASE certifications in:
- Advanced Engine Performance (L1)
- Compressed Natural Gas (F1)
- Engine Repair (A1)
- Brakes (A5)
- Electrical (A6)
- Heating and Air conditioning (A7)
- Engine performance (A8)
I became a BAR State Smog Referee in 1994
Promoted to Referee Regional Manager in 1998
Currently employed by Foundation for California Community Colleges who administers the referee contract for the Bureau of Automotive Repair.
I also own a painting business that I inherited from my father. It has been family owned and operated since 1946.
Additional Information
Hobbies and Interests: Auto restoration, offroading with Jeeps, buggies and motorcycles. I also enjoy riding jet skis and classic cars.
