WHAT IS THE ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL) PROGRAM?
English as a Second Language (ESL) is the study of English for people whose native language is not English. ESL courses are intended to develop English language skills necessary for success in college, in the workplace, and in your personal life.
Inglés Como Segundo Idioma (ESL) es el estudio de inglés para personas en que el inglés no es el pri-mer idioma. Las intenciones de los cursos de ESL son para aprender inglés y para lograr sus metas en el colegio, en el trabajo, y en su vida personal.

Victor Valley College offers a wide variety of ESL classes from beginning to advanced levels. Please consult the Class Schedule for the dates, times, and locations of classes. After completing the Admissions Application, call 760-245-4271 ext. 2687. We encourage you to make an appointment with a (bilingual) counselor to discuss your educational goals.
