Admissions
  • I would like to attend Victor Valley College; how do I get started?

  • I am graduating from high school in June, and I would like to enroll in VVC for the Fall. Where do I begin?

  • If you are graduating from high school and attended VVC as a Dual Enrollment student, you will need to reapply as a "First Time Student in College".
  • When do classes begin?

  • What do I do if I apply and it says I already have an account?

  • Every community college in California uses the same application website. If you have applied anywhere in California, you already have an account, even if you never attended.
  • You can retrieve your username/password by using your email or security questions. *Remember this information will be from when you first applied, not presently*
  • If that does not work, then you will need to contact OpenCCC at (877) 247-4836, and they can reset your information. If they can verify you over the phone, then you can apply the same day; if not, then it can be 1-2 days before you are able to apply.
  • Where can I find my class schedule?
  • Your class schedule is located inside your Self-Service Saas portal.
  • How do I get my student ID card?

  • Stop by the ASB office, located inside the Student Activities Building (#44)
  • You will need to have your registration statement with you that shows that you have a zero balance and a form of ID (i.e., driver’s license)

*If you are enrolled in a payment plan, you will need to contact the Cashier office at cashiers.office@vvc.edu to get a special registration statement that shows you have a payment plan.

  • I have credit for courses I took at another college/university. Will those credits transfer to VVC?
  • Please submit your transcripts to Admissions for an evaluation and make an appointment with a Counselor or the Transfer Center.

VVC Student Email Account
  • I haven't received any email in my VVC student Gmail account since October 2024. What can I do to fix this?
  • VVC no longer uses Gmail and has moved to Microsoft 365. Click on the link below for steps to set up your new email account.

  • How can I receive help with completing mt FAFSA or Dream Act application?
  • The Office of Financial Aid hosts FAFSA/Dream Act workshops where they help students complete their financial aid applications. Click on the link below to see the schedule and to sign up!

  • Do I have to be a full-time student in order to receive my disbursement?
  • Not all students who are eligible for financial aid have to be full-time to receive a disbursement. Click the link below to see some of the requirements students must meet to receive any grants that they may be eligible for.

Counseling
  • Do I have to be a VVC student in order to see a counselor?
  •  Yes, you must be a current/active student in order to meet with a counselor. Click the link below to make an appointment.
