Refund Policy
Participating in Community Education offerings at Victor Valley College are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE. However, refunds will be made only on an extremely rare, case‐by‐case basis and in extreme circumstances. For instance, if the college is to cancel the class/activity due to minimum enrollment not being met, (1) participant’s current payment can be credited to the same or (2) another future offering or a full refund will be granted. Partial refunds are generally available before the start of the first day of class depending on the circumstance(s) please complete a refund request form to see if you are eligible. Once the class/activity starts, no refund is to be given; however, a refund may be provided when there is evidence of extenuating circumstances. Any dismissal from the course or specific offering due to misconduct, emergencies, childcare, or transportation issues are not grounds for a full or even partial refund. Student Conduct Policy
Each student has the right to pursue their education free of any undue infringement on their lawful rights. Victor Valley College follows a “zero tolerance” philosophy when it comes to any behavior or incident that disrupts the learning environment. Student conduct issues are handled in a fair, just manner. Board Policy 5500 identifies the policy on the standards of student conduct. Administrative Procedure 5520(a) provides guidance for this process. In general, student misconduct constitutes good cause for discipline, including but not limited to the removal, suspension, or expulsion of a student. In addition, copies are also available on the VVC website, the office of Campus Police and Public Safety, and in the Vice President's Office.
