Veterans Resource Center

Victor Valley College (VVC) welcomes all veterans, active-duty military, and their dependents with varying educational goals. Whether you are refining your skills, seeking to transfer, planning to earn an Associate Degree, or completing an Occupational Certificate, we will do our best to assist you as you embark on an exciting educational journey at our institution.

VVC offers priority registration for veterans, active duty, reservists, and the spouse of a Veteran with a service-connected disability rating of 50%>. Veterans need to submit a member 4 copy of their DD214 (Discharge Document), active-duty and reservists submit a copy of their current orders, and the spouse submits a completed "Priority Registration For Spouse of Disabled Veteran" form along with required documentation to the Veterans Resource Center to determine eligibility.

If you are called to active duty after enrolling in classes, you will be allowed to drop your course(s), get a refund for fees paid, and receive MW (Military Withdrawal) on your transcript. The notation of MW is not counted in calculating your overall grade point average.
