Remember these 2 rules of data practice here:

There is no data integrity without process integrity. When data do not look correct to you, we can only discover the root cause at the front-end business process if you report it.

Data are objective. Hence, data are meaningless without vigorous discussion among people intent on doing something with whatever shared meaning is created.
