The Student Care & Wellness Unit is committed to advancing student well-being, equity, and success by providing holistic support services that address students' basic needs, mental health, educational goals, and overall wellness.

Student Care & Wellness is home to several programs dedicated to supporting student success and well-being at Victor Valley College. Each program serves a unique purpose and provides specialized services designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Also known as the THRIVE Program, Basic Needs supports students facing challenges that may impact their ability to succeed in college. Through a variety of resources and support services, the program helps students maintain stability, overcome barriers, and stay focused on achieving their educational goals.

Fresh Success supports eligible students in achieving their educational, career, and personal goals through services designed to promote long-term success and self-sufficiency.

NextUp provides enhanced support and resources for current and former foster youth enrolled at Victor Valley College. The program helps students navigate their college journey, build connections, and work toward their academic, career, and personal goals.

Wellness Services promotes student well-being through programs and services that support mental health, housing stability, and overall wellness. The program is committed to helping students thrive both personally and academically.
