Student Parent - Priority Registration

Tell VVC you're a parent

Priority Registration: Get the classes you need

As a student parent, you can sign up for classes before most other students. That means a better chance of getting classes that work around your kids' schedules.

You qualify if:

•    You have at least one child under 18
•    You provide more than half of that child's support
•    You've completed orientation, the placement survey, and have an ed plan on file
•    You're in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher, completing at least 50% of your units)
•    You've earned fewer than 90 degree-applicable units at VVC

How to claim it (about 5 minutes):

•    Fill out the Student Parent Priority Registration form.
•    Log into MyVVC and check Self-Service for your registration date

You might qualify for priority registration through more than one program

At VVC, student parents share the highest priority registration block (Block 1) with several other programs. If any of these also describes you, you don't need to pick one — your priority is already secured, and these programs each come with their own benefits worth claiming.
